This modpack is intended to be used as a base for your own modpack or tinkering around. You can find a modpack for each version that Valkyrien Skies 2 supports. That’s 1.16.5/1.18.2/1.19.2/1.20.1 fabric and forge.

In general, forge will have more addons while fabric will have better performance. Some addons are only available on some versions.

Important!

(Updated May 17th, 2024)

The 1.20.1 fabric modpack uses a patched version of Create: Interactive.

DO NOT REPORT BUGS WITH IT TO THE DEVELOPERS!

If you’re experiencing lighting issues on blocks like chests or tracks it’s likely the flywheel backend of create. You can change it to batching mode to fix the issue but be warned. Instancing is default so you may experience crashes. Off should also work but may reduce performance.

Development of Valkyrien Skies 2 has moved from 1.16.5 to 1.18.2 and as such it is very unlikely that you’ll get support for issues on 1.16.5.

The 1.20.1 version of Valkyrien Skies 2 currently has a major issue with wings/flaps. If you plan on building planes, helicopters, or other such vehicles that’d use wings/flaps don’t use 1.20.1

VsBase 支持 Minecraft Java 版 1.16.5–1.20.1，共 4 个版本，可用的加载器：Fabric / Forge。下载时注意选择和你游戏版本一致的文件。

VsBase 怎么安装？

点本页「前往下载」拿到整合包文件（Modrinth 的是 .mrpack，CurseForge 的是 .zip），在 PCL2 或 HMCL 启动器里选择「导入整合包」，启动器会自动装好 Minecraft、加载器和全部模组。这个整合包有 36 个模组，建议在启动器里给游戏分配 4–6 GB 内存。
