Silent Cities has returned from the wasteland. After a break longer than Rick Grimes’ coma, we’re back to ensure the pack runs smoother than a freshly greased crowbar.
Most game-breaking bugs have been dealt with, though we are keeping a shotgun handy just in case.
02 // WHAT EVEN IS THIS APOCALYPSE?
Silent Cities is a gritty, atmosphere-first zombie survival modpack built for survivors who enjoy eating raw rat meat and crying in closets.
This isn’t a power fantasy where you punch a zombie into the stratosphere. It’s pure survival horror: tip-toeing through foggy alleys, hoarding iron like it’s netherite, and wondering why you chose this life.
The goal is a cohesive survival experience where civilization ended long before you woke up with a headache.

Lighting, environments, and animations aren’t just cosmetic choices, they’re the reason your computer fans sound like a Boeing 747 taking off.
The aim is a cinematic, and aggressively hostile world. Beauty has a cost, so optimization is our constant companion.
04 // THE “BETA” ZONE 💀💀
The pack is still in BETA, which means we are currently testing our sanity against edge cases and weird bugs.
Once stability is ironed flat, we’ll dive headfirst into new content and finally ditch the beta tag like a walker in a swamp.

Silent Cities is an absolute heavyweight champion of modpacks. It doesn’t just run; it demands a tribute from your hardware.
BUTTT we are continuously hunting for efficiency gains so you don’t need a supercomputer just to open a can of peaches in a ruined kitchen.
