Origins pack is made to be a vanilla-like, light modpack, and will be updated regularly to keep the users interested, this modpack is primarily focused for multiplayer, with built in proximity voice chat, and performace enhancing mods like phosphor and sodium, the Origin mod is the main mod here, you choose an origin, which changes the scope of the game, they are sorted by how much it affects vanilla gameplay, extra origins adds more origins, and then you choose your class, which is a small perk that has no downsides.
