Glide

Glide is a Fabric mod that adds a new treasure enchantment for chestplates. It allows players to glide using Elytra-style flight while still wearing normal armour.

Adds the Glide I enchantment
Works on chestplates
Keeps normal chestplate armour protection
Uses familiar Elytra-style gliding
Displays wings on the player while Glide armour is equipped
Uses chestplate durability during flight
Stops gliding when the chestplate reaches 4 durability
Supports multiplayer
Includes the /glidebook command
Crafting

The Glide enchanted book is created by combining:

1 Elytra
1 Book

The result is a Glide I enchanted book. Use an anvil to apply it to a chestplate.

Commands

Give a Glide book to one player:

/glidebook give

Give a Glide book to every online player:

/glidebook give all

Player names and all are available through tab completion.

The mod must be installed on both the server and the players’ clients for multiplayer use and visible wings.
