NNP Rune Smithing

One part Mana and Artifice runes, one part Apotheotic Bosses and one part Tinker’s Construct, NNP Rune Smithing is a mod about exploring the world, finding lost knowledge, fighting suped up mobs, mining new ores, melting them into colorful alloys, and casting them into powerful runes. Guidebook entries will unock organically as you progress.

Core features include:

• Rune arrays – enchant the world!
• Rune enhanced equipment – mod compatible
• Rune enhanced mobs (natural spawn only right now)
• Data driven ore processing system – built in support for popular mods

This mod has a number of systems which can work together, but can also be explored separately. To start this mod, craft the guidebook and earn your starters pack. Alternatively, loot an enhanced mob or explore a vanilla structure and find a template. Or craft yourself a melter, a casting table, and fire clay, and get started with ore processing. Whatever you do, don’t forget to make yourself an in-game guide.

Note 1: this mod isn’t a replacement for MnA, Apotheosis, Tinkers, etc. Because it does many things, it doesn’t go into depth on any of them… except runes. That’s where the depth lies.

Note 2: the guidebook is controlled by advancements. If you want spoilers, that’s how you unlock them.

Note 3: This mod is a work in progress. Well, on hiatus, really. I’ll probably resume development soonish, but I figured it’s time to share what I have… er, _had_ when I started my hiatus a couple months ago. Most of the endgame content isn’t in yet and a few mechanics are jankier than I’d like.
