This is a mod which makes resource packs versioning better and more compatible.

Changes how vanilla resource pack compatibility check works so it won’t think your pack is imcompatible or broken.
Makes your resource pack to easily support more versions without needing extra meta files.
Write your pack.mcmeta freely with no more “Broken or incompatible”!
Supports all formats(pack_format, supported_formats, min_format & max_format) in pack.mcmeta
Take a look at the example pack in source repository for more info.

Download the .jar file and place it into your mods folder like other mods.

Q: Will it support other verions?

A: Currently planning to make a Forge/NeoForged version and port it to 1.21.4, 1.21.1, 1.20.1, 1.18.2 and 1.16.5.

Better Resource Pack Versioning 支持 Minecraft Java 版 1.21.9，可用的加载器：Fabric。下载时注意选择和你游戏版本一致的文件。

先用 PCL2 或 HMCL 启动器安装对应版本的 Fabric，再把下载的 .jar 文件放进游戏目录的 mods 文件夹，重新启动游戏即可。开启了版本隔离的，mods 文件夹在 versions/版本名下面。运行环境：仅客户端。
