Ultimate Ironman

This project will be revisited and updated summer 2023.

Ultimate Ironman is an incredibly lightweight vanilla+ modpack for 1.16 that introduces most of the Ultimate Ironman mechanics from Oldschool Runescape, and a few other things. The main goal of this pack is to of course kill “the” dragon, and many other dragons, within the limitations. Obviously this was fully inspired by Oldschool Runescape’s Ultimate Ironman game mode, which yes, I do actually play for some reason.

Features

• No chests – If they are in the world they are locked, you cannot break them, you cannot craft or place them. Your inventory is your inventory.
• Death pile – On death items will stay on the ground for 1 hour before disappearing.
• RPG leveling systems – PlayerEx and Project MMO add player levelling systems that allow levels to be earned for specific skills as actions are performed.
• Ice and Fire/Alex’s Mobs – These are basically essential for any RPG playthrough and add all the mobs needed.
• Everything else in the pack is what I would consider quality of life/game performance.

Nobody asked for this, or ever will for that matter, but it’s here!

Open to suggestions to make the experience more concrete.

 – A “looting bag” that accepts items in but only releases items out on death would be extremely helpful if anyone wants to make one.

 – Thoughts of making only an Ender Chest craftable using a Nether Star and Dragon Heart. Ask for it if you want it.

 – The dank is only there to act as an automatic garbage can while mining.

Additions to come;

 – Realistic item drops (item physics)

 – More overlays (light levels/chunks)

 – Paxel?

 – Right click harvest

 – Move dragons a bit farther from spawn

 – Spartan weaponry/shields

 – Remove that other item I forgot to…
