Cacophony

This truly has been, a cacophony..

_Cacophony currently adds a variety of items, most of which are gambling themed, such as _Jokers_ and _Chip vaults_ (NOT CURRENTLY FINDABLE OR CRAFTABLE), but also some other items such as the _Subspace Tripmine.__

What does this mod add?

The items in this mod are mostly gambling-themed, as stated above; however they aren’t used for actual gambling. (obviously)
Currently, the mod contains 7 “Jokers”, 2 Misc. cards, 4 Swords, 4 Misc. Items, and 2 helmets that are straight upgrades to netherite.

Jokers

The main feature of the mod. Most of these give you effects while held in the off-hand, with the exception of the Invisible Joker.

• Joker: Strength III while in off-hand.
• Oops! All 6s: Luck III while in off-hand.
• Runner: Speed III while in off-hand.
• Rocket: Jump Boost III while in off-hand.
• To-do list: Haste II while in off-hand.
• Photograph: Grants a custom effect that briefly stops attacked entities in place while in off-hand.
• Invisible Joker: Turns into a non-rare, non-epic item that is held in your off-hand when used in the main hand. (this one has some bugs, they’ll be fixed in the next version)

Misc. Cards

These are the card items that don’t classify as jokers.

• Wheel of fortune: Grants you a random positive effect for 20 seconds when used.
• Ace of spades: Throwable card that ricochets (by a really small amount) off of surfaces, and deals 4 damage to hit entities.

Swords

These are borrowed from a ROBLOX game called “Sword fights on the heights”

• Linked Sword: Basically just a better iron sword, with the fastest swing speed out of all of them; used to craft all the other swords in the mod.
• Venomshank: Poisons hit entities, not very useful yet but I’ll give it a better use in future versions.
• Firebrand: Sets hit entities on fire. (not actually fire aspect, despite it saying that ingame, I just thought it’d be easier to explain that way.)
• Darkheart: Inflicts wither on hit entities, upgraded version of the venomshank; also not very useful since it lasts way too little for it to do anything (same reason as venomshank)

Misc. Non-cards

These are Miscellaneous items that aren’t cards.

• Subspace Tripmine: Kaboom! craftable with 4 obsidian, 4 gunpowder and 1 amethyst, these things are a surefire way to ruin someone’s day.
• Reflector: Reflects entities away from you, can be used for movement tech!
• Magic wand: As seen in the ROBLOX game Die Of Death, this can be used to repurpose blocks within your inventory. (currently only has interactions with Packed Ice, Copper Block and Noteblock)
• Banana Launcher: Also from Die Of Death, this suspiciously grenade-launcher shaped banana launcher shoots bananas that your foes may slip on!

Helmets

Straight upgrades to netherite helmets, however they have the same durability and protection.

• Gambler’s Hat: Grants you luck IV while worn, pretty simple.
• Plague Mask: Grants you immunity to wither and poison while worn.
