• The main menu scales with the window. Before, smaller windows (like the default 854×480 or 1366×768) cut off the lower buttons.
• The Mods and Rent a Server buttons in the main menu work.
• The loading bar is purple, like it was meant to be.
• You start in first person (Shoulder Surfing is still on F5).
• Quest Icons 1.0.1: joining a team no longer gives you a second Quest Book.
• Quests name JEI, the recipe viewer of the pack (some still said REI).
• Just Enough Resources is removed: it did not work with the Nether biomes of BetterNether and showed no pages.

Beach Craft 2.0.1

• Sharks spawn in the raft ocean again.
• Sail canvas can be crafted again.
• The paddle pushes the boat.
• The item catcher, water purifier, grill and scarecrow are fixed.
• Driftwood and palm wood burn in furnaces.
• Quarries keep the contents of shulker boxes.
• Batteries no longer bounce energy back and forth.
• Portal and teleporter fixes, and more. The full list is in the Beach Craft changelog.

Quests

• The Endless Sea chapter matches the mod again.
• Driftwood grows as stumps on sandy beaches, and the receiver leads you to floating driftwood.
• The old “Land Ho!” quest asked for a structure that was almost impossible to find. It is now “Driftwood Ahoy!”: bring 16 driftwood logs aboard.
• The titanium quest names the diamond pickaxe and the metal detector.
• The titanium armor quest lists the real set bonus: Water Breathing, Dolphin’s Grace and Conduit Power.

Server

• The server pack contains Beach Craft 2.0.1 and the new quest files.
• To update an existing server, replace mods/raft-*.jar and config/questsicons/quests.

• Prologue: A Strange Dream – You fell asleep… and woke up somewhere else. (11 quests)

Open the book with J, with the Quest Book item or with the button in your inventory. You get the book when you join a world for the first time.

Play together and share your quest progress: create a team with /quests team create <name> and invite a friend with /quests team invite <player>. Your friend joins with /quests team join <your name>.

The Dreamcraft main menu

1. Download the Server Pack of the newest version from the Files tab.
2. Install Java 25 on the server, for example from adoptium.net.
3. Unzip the folder and run start.sh (Linux and macOS) or start.bat (Windows).
4. The first start stops and creates eula.txt. Read the Minecraft EULA and set eula=true in that file.
5. Start again. The Fabric launcher downloads Minecraft 26.3 and starts the server with all mods.

RAM: start.sh gives the server 8 GB. Set another amount with DREAMCRAFT_RAM, for example DREAMCRAFT_RAM=10G ./start.sh. On Windows, change -Xmx8G in start.bat.

Voice chat: Simple Voice Chat needs the UDP port 24454 open on your server.

Updating a V1 server: replace mods/raft-*.jar and the folder config/questsicons/quests.

Client-only mods (marked “client” in the mod list) are not in the server pack. Players use the normal Dreamcraft pack.
