RunNGun – 100 Days Zombie Apocalypse (Zombie Apocalypse) (Horror)

RunNGun is a highly optimized and lightweight modpack that revolves around surviving against the dead for 100 days. If you are tired of heavily modded overcomplicated modpacks with annoying mechanisms this one is for you.

Hardcore Elements

You start with 3 lives. If you lose all 3 of them you turn into spectator mod. You can craft extra hearts , use respawn beacons or ”borrow” (steal) from your friends!

Multiplayer Friendly Experience

Survive together using the proximity voice chat and revive system.

Select one of the 5 different kits upon starting a new world depending on which suits your playstyle more.

Exploration

Over 30 unique structures to explore with their own loot to help you survive including dungeons and underground bankers with ton of loot… and danger.

The Horde Gets Worse Every 10 Days

You don’t get to sit comfortably in a base forever. Every 10 days, the world gets progressively harder as zombie spawn rates spike massively. You aren’t just fighting regular vanilla zombies either—there are multiple different types of infected running around. Thanks to Enhanced AI and Attract to sound mods they will actively track you, flank your position, and hunt you down like a real pack. Many other mechanisms are included such as breaking blocks, teleporting to you etc.

Noise Matters

Breaking blocks, sprinting, or firing a gun without a silencer sends out actual sound vibrations. Nearby zombies will drop what they’re doing, turn toward the noise, and come investigate. If you aren’t sneaking and playing carefully, you’re going to get swarmed.

Moon Cycle & True Darkness

Your visibility depends entirely on the sky. The pack features a progressive moon cycle where the nights get darker and darker as the moon wanes, eventually turning into  pitch-black. To survive, you’ll be equipped with a flashlight.

Parkour

Sometimes running is the only way to survive. Evade the hordes with the parkour mod allowing you to run faster , climb up, wallrun and slide. Use the parcool guide to learn how to use it.

Guns

Why run when you can have a rocket launcher to blast through the hordes and turn them into pieces of flesh. Make guns with tacz workbench and show them what you’re made of. Additional guns from Call of duty Zombies have been added like the RayGun and Wonderwaffle, but beware they can be quite costly.

Pocket Dimension

You will soon realize that no matter where you hide, they will find a way in. There is no place in this world where you are completely safe. Which is why in order to create your own hideout you will need to travel to another dimention. Craft a key and create your own world which you can expand using resources found in the overworld. Beware that time in the overworld freezes while in the pocket dimension.

Recommendations

• Complementary Unbound, mellow and insanity shaders are now supported!
• Unfortunately due to the new flashlight mod that is still being worked on shaders are not fully compatible (when using the flashlight).
• The lost cities are auto enabled. In order to remove them, disable them when creating a world, or disable the lost cities autogen mod
