Quantum Skies

Quantum skies is a GTCEu-modern based skyblock modpack for Minecraft 1.20.1. 

The quest book is a good guide for new skyblock players and for players new to GregTech, though it may not be sufficient for Minecraft novices. The quest book guides your progress through UV.

The difficulty is moderate. The goal of the pack is to provide a straightforward expanded “GregTech+” experience without the crippling difficulty/tedium that usually accompanies it.

The stone age features a lot of QoL additions that make it quicker. Light automation starts in the stone age, which ramps quickly into a full steam age. Resource acquisition up through HV is “classic” ex nihilo, with some alterations to suit gregtech’s progression.

Much of the later QoL is oriented towards power/item/fluid logistics. Flux Networks and Entangled are provided to make power, item, and fluid distribution much simpler, but the last mile will have to be GT pipenets or AE2.

Since nearly all resources are functionally unlimited in skyblock, a lot of power generation options are viable, but only GT sources exist.

To balance some of this out, there are no storage drawers!

Expect gameplay balance adjustments during the 0.N.x “beta” period.
