✦ What it does

Chroma Vector removes textures and lighting and draws only the edges of the world: block faces, mobs, players, items in your hand. Every line is coloured with a smooth animated rainbow, so the whole screen slowly shifts through the spectrum as you play.

It looks like Minecraft running on a retro vector display, or a city made of neon tubes.

🌈 Rainbow outlines

• Smooth colour flow with no harsh jumps between hues
• Speed, starting hue, hue range, saturation and brightness
• Patterns: diagonal, horizontal, rings, by distance, whole screen
• Or one solid colour of your choice

💡 Neon glow

• One switch on the main settings page
• Bright core with a soft coloured halo, like a real neon sign
• Circle or stripe shape, glow strength, halo size, optional tube flicker
• Costs nothing when turned off

📺 Retro screen

• CRT curvature with no black borders
• Scanlines and a moving scan band
• Afterglow that only shows while the camera is still, so moving never smears

⚙️ Clean lines

• Outlines on blocks, mobs, players, armour and held items
• Flat surfaces stay clean at any angle, distant lines fade out instead of flickering
• Adjustable line thickness and edge sensitivity

Pick a preset, then tune anything you like. Every option has a clear name in English and Russian.

✦ Installation

1. Install Iris (recommended) or OptiFine
2. Put ChromaVector.zip into .minecraft/shaderpacks
3. Video Settings → Shader Packs → Chroma Vector

Do not unzip the file.

✦ FAQ

Is it hard to play with?
The world is fully readable: every block and mob has an outline. Caves and dark areas are as clear as daylight, because there is no lighting.

The screen has too many lines.
Raise Colour edge threshold in Line shape, or lower Fade distant lines.

Colours are too bright.
Use the Standard preset or lower Brightness and Saturation in Line colours.

Does it work on Forge / NeoForge?
Yes, through Oculus or Iris for NeoForge.
