Netherite Plated Elytra:Datapack-Resource pack Edition

Heavy Metal Elytra (Netherite Plated Elytra Vanilla Port)

This datapack brings a perfectly balanced, vanilla-compatible endgame upgrade to your Minecraft world. It allows you to plate your Elytra with Netherite using the standard Smithing Table, matching the progression system introduced in Minecraft 1.20.

Features

• Heavy Metal Crafting: Upgrade your Elytra in the Smithing Table using 1x Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template, 1x Elytra, and 1x Netherite Ingot.
• Double Durability: Extends your flight time with a maximum durability of 864 points (double the vanilla Elytra).
• Reinforced Armor: Grants +8 Armor Points (equivalent to a Diamond Chestplate) and +1 Knockback Resistance when worn.
• Lava Immunity: True to its Netherite nature, the upgraded item won’t burn in fire or lava if dropped.
• Custom Advancement: Unlocks the special “Heavy Metal Elytra” advancement upon crafting!

Visuals & Setup

To experience the dark, heavy metal texture while flying, you must download and activate the accompanying Resource Pack included in the “Additional Files” section of this release.
