Explorer’s Compass – Dungeon Loot Only

Removes the crafting recipe for the Explorer’s Compass and integrates it exclusively into dungeon loot chests.

In my experience playing with friends, crafting the Explorer’s Compass was far too easy. We ended up relying on it constantly, which took away the sense of mystery and made our playthrough end way too quickly.

To bring back the excitement of exploration, this datapack makes the Explorer’s Compass uncraftable and turns it into a rare relic. You can now only find it inside dungeon chests with a 10% chance.

How to configure the drop rate:

1. – Open the datapack archive and navigate to: data/explorers_rebalance/loot_table/injected/dungeon_compass.json
2. – Open the file with any text editor and find “chance”: 0.1.
3. – Change the value according to your preference, where 1.0 equals 100% and 0.1 equals 10% (e.g., set to 0.25 for 25%). Save the file and run /reload in-game.
