Mystical Forest

what exactly this data pack does

this data pack brings back worldgen features from the old famous Thaumcraft mod to your Minecraft world like: biomes, nature features and structures

biomes

• Magical Forest (renamed as Mystical Forest)
• Eerie
• Tainted Lands (for future updates)

worldgen features

• Silverwood Tree (for future updates)
• Greatwood Tree (for future updates)
• Obsidian Totem
• Spider Tree (for future updates)

structures

• Hilltop Stones (for future updates)
• Eldritch Ring (for future updates)
• Mound (for future updates)
• Wizard Tower (for future updates)

Nodes

• spawns in the entire overworld in any biome and it comes in two variants: Dark and Pure Node
• can spawn inside of an Obsidian Totem

Dark Node

• works as a spawner to protect himself, spawn husk and strays every 400ticks (it can be disabled)
• slowly spreads Eerie biome, 14 radius (it can be disabled)

Pure Node

• it doesn’t do anything just decoration

command to disable Dark Node spawner (0=desactivated/1=activated)

/scoreboard players set mf.configurable.mechanic.dark_node.can_spawner mf.configurable 0

coomand to disable Dark Node spreading (0=desactivated/1=activated)

/scoreboard players set mf.configurable.mechanic.dark_node.can_spread mf.configurable 0

command to modify spawning time (in ticks, default is 400)

/scoreboard players set mf.configurable.mechanic.dark_node.spawner.default_timer mf.configurable 400

notes

• the data pack stills in early development so it doesn’t have much content
• resource pack IS NOT necesary, all is made with vanilla blocks
• it doesn’t add new custom items or blocks to the game
