Altered: Player Swap

Random Swap is a Minecraft Java datapack that every 60 seconds randomly reorders all online players and cycles their positions: each player moves to the next one’s location, and the last moves to the first. Works with any number of players (2+). When only one player is online the system pauses completely.

How it works

• A timer counts down on the actionbar: “Next swap in X s”
• At 0 every player is teleported in a fresh random cycle
• Odd and even player counts both work — everyone moves
• With 1 player the timer freezes and the actionbar clears
• A short “_Positions swapped!_” flashes when the cycle happens
• Load message appears when the datapack is enabled

Install

Drop the zip into the world’s datapacks folder, then run _/reload_.
