Seven new brewable potions for Minecraft Java 26.3+ – including Haste, Levitation, Resistance, Conduit Power, and the Bedrock-exclusive Potion of Decay, now available in survival Java.

Drop the datapack into your world’s datapacks folder and run /reload. No mods required.

Highlights

Haste – mine and fight faster, brewed from copper and echo shards
Levitation – float upward, brewed from wind charges
Glowing – outline players and mobs, brewed from glow berries and glow ink sacs
Resistance – reduce incoming damage, brewed from a shield and quartz
Conduit Power – breathe and mine underwater, brewed through a three-step chain from Haste
Luck – doubles all XP earned while the effect is active
Decay – inflict Wither II, brewed from wither roses (Bedrock’s Potion of Decay)

Most potions support vanilla modifiers: Redstone (extended), Glowstone (strong), Gunpowder (splash), and Dragon’s Breath (lingering). Luck and Decay include splash and lingering variants.

Installation

Download and extract the datapack.
Copy the PlentifulPotions-[ver]-[mcver].zip into <world>/datapacks/.
Run /reload, or rejoin the world.
run /datapack enable PlentifulPotions-[ver]-[mcver].zip

Full brewing recipes

Modifiers

Haste

Apply Redstone, Glowstone, Gunpowder, and Dragon’s Breath using the standard modifier chain.

Levitation

No strong variant. Supports extended, splash, and lingering modifiers.

Glowing

Full modifier support.

Resistance

The shield is consumed during brewing. Full modifier support.

Conduit Power

Requires a regular Potion of Haste (3:00, not extended or strong).

Full modifier support.

Luck

While the Luck effect is active, all XP gained is doubled – from mining, combat, smelting, breeding, and other sources. This is custom datapack behaviour beyond vanilla Luck.

Decay

Wither II (0:40) when drunk or splashed. The lingering cloud applies Wither II (0:10), matching Bedrock Edition. All variants use the same dark wither colour.
