Flour and Dough Recipes

A data pack that reworks the production chain of wheat-based products, adding a milling step and standardizing the use of flour and dough in cooking recipes.

Production chain:

– Wheat → Flour → Dough → Bread

– Wheat → Flour → Other recipes

– Maize → Cornmeal → Artisan recipes

To produce bread, wheat must first be turned into flour using Create’s Mill. Then, three flour and one egg produce three Farmer’s Delight dough. The dough can then be baked in a furnace or smoker to produce bread.

Flour is also used in other recipes that previously used wheat or dough, keeping wheat as the basic raw material for cooking.

Features:

• Adds a milling step to wheat-based cooking.
• Adds a separate Corn → Cornmeal production chain.
• Replaces wheat or dough with flour in cooking recipes, with the exception of noodles.
• Bread is exclusively produced from dough in a furnace or smoker.
• Replaces Create’s dough with Farmer’s Delight dough.
• Uses Create’s Mill as the main milling station.
• Integrates Bountiful Fares pies with Farmer’s Delight’s Pie Crust, and the same goes for No Man’s Land’s Pear Cobbler.
• Removes the Bountiful Fares Gristmill and transfers selected food and Bountiful Fares-specific processing recipes to Create’s Mill.
• Removes the wheat-based slimeball recipe.
• Recipes that use eggs accept any kind of egg, not just the vanilla one.
• Dumplings also accept No Man’s Land mushrooms.

Mod compatibility:

• No Man’s Land, No Man’s Delight, My Nether’s Delight and Windswept: their wheat-based foods now use flour, following the same rules as above.
• Lavender: recipes that used No Man’s Land lavender now use Windswept lavender instead.
• Venison: recipes that used No Man’s Land venison now use Naturalist venison instead.
• Icy’s Better Horses: all horse breeds now drop No Man’s Land horse meat, just like the vanilla horse, and receive the same offering dialogue.

Note: the lavender and venison swaps expect both mods involved to be installed; if one is missing, the affected recipes won’t be available.
