A lightweight, client-side utility mod for Minecraft 1.21-26.3 that makes copying chat messages quick, simple, and frustration free.

‼ What It Does

CopyThat adds two super useful chat copy actions:

• Ctrl + Left Click on a chat message → copies the full raw message
• Includes username/prefix (<CqllMeToxic> or CqllMeToxic:) and message body
• Right Click on a chat message → copies only the message content
• Automatically strips the username/prefix and copies only what was said
• Shows an in-chat confirmation message so you instantly know what was copied ✅

Controls

• Ctrl + Left Click → Copy full chat line
• Right Click → Copy text after username/prefix

Simple, fast, and easy.

Example

If chat shows:

<CqllMeToxic> hi lol
or
CqllMeToxic: hi lol

Then:

• Ctrl + Left Click copies: <CqllMeToxic> hi lol / CqllMeToxic: hi lol
• Right Click copies: hi lol

Installation

1. Install a supported mod loader (Fabric / Forge / NeoForge)
2. Install the correct API/dependencies for your loader (if required)
3. Drop CopyThat into your mods folder
4. Launch Minecraft and open chat
