DinneenCraft

This resource pack contains a translation of Minecraft into Irish, in the spelling used before the 1950s spelling reform. The spelling conforms to that of the 2nd edition of P.S. Dinneen’s _Foclóir Gaedhilge agus Béarla_, but the grammar and vocab is mostly kept the same as the standard Irish translation.

There are two slightly different orthographies available from the language menu in-game:

• _Gaeḋilge (Éire)_ – Uses an overdot to show lenited consonants (e.g. _aġaiḋ_, best with the Bardchlo resource pack)
• _Gaedhilge (Éire)_ – Uses a following “h” to show lenited consonants, as in modern standard Irish (e.g. _aghaidh_). Best used with the default Minecraft font, Mojangles.

NOTE: This modpack does not include a Gaelic font: please download Bardchlo if you want to use Gaelic script letter forms in combination with pre-reform spellings.
